Why does my work have to be multimodal?

 

I am a person with many identities that has continually made a footprint online. I have created 7 blogs, use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Academia.edu, Youtube, LinkedIn, Prezi, Popplet, iMovie, and Keynote in various parts of my life. I am fundamentally a digital native. I love exploring new media whether online or offline to use and the resources and websites are continually changing and it is hard to keep up! For my PhD research, I am excited to explore possibilities for my work to be communicated multimodally. But I think that for now, I'm in a place for figuring out where I've been, where I am and where I am going to finally decide what format my dissertation will be in.
